Ruffed Grouse Hunts, and Grouse Hunting Trip Packages;
Maine Grouse
hunting is a "welcome" step back in time. It takes skill - steady nerves and good aim. We
have good numbers of Grouse and plenty of cover
to hunt them with too! As a bonus, we have a heathy population
of woodcock. These speedy birds hold extremely
well. Hunt with your dogs or ours - guided
or unguided trips are available.
If
you plan to Grouse hunt in Maine for a week - or
a day - then use Sunrise Ridge as your Maine hunting guide and Maine vacation base!
PRICING: Non-Guided, $550.00 and Up - depending upon size of party (all
meals and lodging are included).

* Prices for hunts are per person
and with a 5 day stay including meals and lodging.
A 50% deposit is required when
making reservations. The remaining balance
is due 60 days prior to arrival. Deposits are
non-refundable, but you are welcome to choose
someone else to take your place. Personal checks
are welcome for deposits ONLY.

Weapon of choice
Ammunition
Appropriate game license
Game tag
Camera & film
(for great memories!)
Compass (never go into the woods without one)
Warm clothing (evenings can get cool)
Rubber boots
Flashlight and knife
Padded cushion
Big Game license from your home state (in order
to purchase a Maine hunting license).
Cooler for meat
Two articles of “Hunter Orange”. Clothing must
be worn at all times during firearms season (one
article of clothing MUST be a hat)
