Maine Snowshoe Hare Hunts and Hunting Trips
Sunrise Ridge offers outstanding, "world-class" and very affordable Snowshoe Hare hunting trips - with combination trips offered from October 1st through March 31st.
The Hare population
in Maine has exploded in recent years. So,
it's possible (and likely) that you'll harvest your
daily limit (that's currently "four" Snowshoe Hare per
person).
We offer guided, semi-guided, or non-guided hunts. You can also hunt
with our Beagles, or, you can bring your own.
It’s your choice - since it’s your
vacation!
* Meals are included with lodging unless otherwise specified.
* This
is a great hunt for young as well as seasoned
hunters. With its fast paced action it’s sure
to put a smile on everyone’s face! Please contact
us for information on pricing.
* A 50% deposit is required when
making reservations. The remaining balance
is due 60 days prior to arrival. Deposits are
non-refundable, but you are welcome to choose
someone else to take your place. Personal checks
are welcome for deposits ONLY.
PRICING (for two or more hunters):
Guided Package - $180.00 per day. Includes 3 meals and lodging.
Non-Guided Package - $95.00 per day. Includes 3 meals and lodging.
3-Day Guided Package with Meals and Lodging - $525.00
5-Day Guided Package with Meals and Lodging - $800.00
Lodging Only Available - $40.00 per day.

Appropriate game license
Game tag
Camera & film
(for great memories!)
Compass (never go into the woods without one)
Warm clothing (evenings can get cool)
Rubber boots
Flashlight and knife
Padded cushion
Big Game license from your home state (in order
to purchase a Maine hunting license).
Cooler for meat
Hunter orange clothing: Two pieces of orange during deer season and one piece of orange during Moose season (one article of clothing must be a hat)
